THE REQUIREMENT:
The company requires an experienced aircraft engine Borescope Inspector based in central Europe. The inspector will join the EASA / FAA Part 145 approved MRO as Certifying Staff. This role involves conducting full front-to-back inspections on various engines, interpreting damage, generating reports, and handling customer queries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing borescope inspections on aircraft engines and APUs.
- Supporting borescope teams with engineering queries.
- Managing customer interactions regarding engineering queries.
- Acting as a borescope inspection witness.
- Handling Engine QEC Inventory.
- Conducting borescope inspection desktop reviews.
- Reviewing engine technical records.
LOCATION:
The role is remote based, with frequent global travel required. Candidates should ideally be based in central Europe.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will join the certifying staff team. To qualify as certifying staff, candidates must have:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience working in an engine shop/base maintenance.
- Competence in borescope inspections.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- High attention to detail.
- A professional demeanour.
- The ability to travel around Europe visa-free
PACKAGE:
- Job Type: Full-time Employment.
- Annual Salary: € Competitive
- Inspection-Based Payment: €200 per engine inspection (approximately 65 per year); €50 per APU inspection (approximately 30 per year); €800 per blend (approximately 5 per year).
