General Manager – Field Services

Summary

We are representing a leading engine MRO organization that provides solutions in the commercial aerospace industry. This role will oversee all aspects of the Field Service team including customer relations, line operations, commercial, facilities, health, safety, and environmental functions. Manages and directs activities of subordinate team members at the location and in the field. The General Manager will promote a positive team environment to better serve our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of competition to include selling points, product offerings, and pricing working with the Sales team.
  • Remain locally competitive by maintaining close contact with market conditions
  • Creates new opportunities by developing relationships with customers, tenants, local government and the local community.
  • Establish a culture that promotes safety and quality control through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, monthly safety meetings, training and documented safety procedures.
  • Establish a culture that promotes customer loyalty by creating an environment of increased employee engagement
  • Regularly interact with customers to promote the Field Service brand and the level of customer satisfaction.
  • Receive and use customer feedback to constantly develop and improve capabilities and processes.
  • Manage Operations, including ensuring proper staffing levels are maintained based on daily/weekly/monthly volumes
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels supporting the activities planned
  • Responsible for all logistical needs to support the daily operations of the facility and team
  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Perform leadership functions such as conducting annual reviews, making hiring decisions, and managing performance of direct reports, which includes mentoring, and skill development.
  • Ensure employees receive company communications and necessary training including safety, customer service standards, Company values, etc.
  • Ensure training and development of employees to improve work performance and maximize employee potential.
  • Manage the facilities ensuring a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Must be able to read, write, and understand the English Language
  • Strong logistics and supply chain knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and web-based applications
  • Must possess a valid passport
  • Must be able to pass airport security background check
