Reports to: Executive Vice President/General Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Program Manager will oversee profit and loss for a major U.S. Government engine upgrade program valued at over $100M and manage workshare with a key subcontractor. Additional responsibilities include supporting business development efforts and managing future U.S. Government engine maintenance and overhaul (MRO) programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the management of the engine upgrade program, ensuring contract requirements and objectives related to cost, technical standards, and schedule are achieved.
- Serve as the main interface for all contractual and programmatic matters, ensuring compliance with cost, technical, and scheduling requirements.
- Conduct regular program reviews with stakeholders and senior management.
- Oversee subcontractor management to ensure compliance with prime contract and subcontract terms.
- Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for internal and customer reporting.
- Manage “out-of-scope” work with the customer and subcontractor within a FAR/DFAR environment.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to meet production, financial, and business development objectives.
- Prepare annual program budgets and progress reports, including risk mitigation as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in private industry focused on U.S. Government or Department of Defense (DoD) products, with at least 5 years in a program
management role with P&L responsibility. - Direct experience working with U.S. Government or DoD as a customer, covering areas such as engineering, quality, logistics, production, cost control, and procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field; a Master’s degree and/or PMP certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations and demonstrated experience managing complex government contracts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- On-site role in Opa Locka, Florida, within a manufacturing facility.
- Some travel to customer and subcontractor facilities may be required.
