JOB SUMMARY:
We’re seeking a driven Senior Parts Sales Manager, a true ‘sales hunter,’ with established relationships across the aerospace aftermarket. As an integral individual contributor, you will leverage your strong network with airlines, MROs, and key aerospace players to drive sales growth. This role is remote, with approximately 70% travel across the UK, Europe, and occasional long-haul travel to expand market reach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Growth: Generate new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships, focusing primarily on airframe parts and, ideally, on engine and cabin interior components.
- Customer Management: Leverage an established customer base while actively seeking new clients, including airlines, MROs, and aerospace partners.
- Industry Expertise: Use your deep understanding of the aerospace aftermarket to identify opportunities, meet clients’ unique needs, and offer tailored solutions.
- Strategic Development: Formulate and execute effective sales strategies that align with company goals and market demand.
- Market Presence: Represent the company at industry events, fostering relationships and staying current with trends and client needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales Experience: 5 – 10 years proven success as a ‘sales hunter’ in aviation or aerospace aftermarket parts sales, with a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Industry Network: Well-connected within the UK and European aerospace aftermarket sector, with an active network among airlines, MROs, and aerospace clients.
- Product Knowledge: Proficiency in airframe parts is essential; familiarity with engines and cabin interiors is a plus.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and Europe, with occasional long-haul trips.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
