VP of Operations

Reporting to the Regional Vice President and General Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring successful operations within the facility as well as oversight of the departments reporting to this role. This includes planning, leading, organising, staffing and overall management of the facility, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organisation.

As a strategic leader, this role must foster a strong company culture and consistently model the organisation’s core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work strategically with the leadership team to implement business plan objectives and report regularly
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures to maintain smooth operations
  • Lead the team by setting expectations, monitoring performance, and developing team members
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and regulatory agencies
  • Collaborate with divisional managers
  • Oversee and report on the facility budget
  • Actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)

Education and Experience:

  • Relevant degree or minimum of 12 years’ related experience/training; or an equivalent combination
  • ACA and Licensed AME preferred
