PDQ are setting themselves up for one amazing 2020 as they grow their sales and business development teams. Over the last few months, Capilaux has been assisting Vice President (Global Sales), Paul Rice in finding the perfect fit for the quirky, fun and memorable brand.

If you have ever been to any MRO events, you’ll know from their themed, packed-out stands that PDQ Airspares are the ones to watch over the next few years. Embedding themselves socially and professionally within the aerospace arena, they have continued their growth year on year in terms of both headcount and turnover. According to Linked-in statistics, their headcount has grown by nearly 10% in the last six months alone.

In their recent recruitment campaign, they have hired two experienced sales and business development heads in their EMEA team and appointed a VP Sales for the Americas region.

The first recruit is Sebastian Taylor, a strong sales and business development performer and someone that comes with some strong aerospace industry knowledge. Joining the week of MRO Europe, a big event in the company’s calendar, it was a baptism of fire for Sebastian who took it all in his stride. PDQ are very excited to welcome him into the team and they can already see he’s a good fit for the business. The Capilaux team are excited to see his long-term success as his career with PDQ grows.

The new Americas VP Sales was welcomed the week after MRO Europe, Bob Kuceba who they found via their internal company networks. Bob comes from Wencor and brings to the team a strong knowledge of the North American region as well as some great connections in the aviation MRO and aftermarket sector.

Finally, we have Agnieszka Zarska, another Capilaux find, joining the business in early November. She is a future superstar and will be supporting their facility in Poland which has been growing from strength to strength since they opened their facility in 2018. This site was opened initially to offer their clients peace of mind around Brexit uncertainty but has now become a fantastic asset to the PDQ infrastructure. PDQ are excited for her arrival and are looking forward to getting to know her.
